Hello all,
I’ve noticed conversations about 15th Anniversary content coming soon to EverQuest on the forums, and I wanted to chat a bit about them here. Here are some of the features coming to EverQuest that I’m most excited about:
New Race/Class Combinations
Wood Elf Beastlord
Before the end of the month, players will have access to two new race and class combinations!
Wood Elf Beastlord – Tunare has been mocked for the last time. These transgressions must end, and nature must protect itself. Wood elves of Kelethin who are willing to do their part should rise up alongside their own treant warders and prove to the world that nature is protected.
The upcoming race/class combination, Wood Elf Beastlord, was decided on by the community as part of the Race/Class Combo Clash that occurred between December 2013 and January 2014. I talk more about Wood Elf Beastlords here.
Froglok Monk – Many guktan seeking to join the path of the monk have asked Ulno, the first guktan monk of Quellious, what to do. Travel down the path to enlightenment young guktan monks, strive for peace, and be the change in Norrath you want to see.
The upcoming race/class combination, Froglok Monk, was announced by Thom Terrazas in the November Producer’s Letter.
Heroic Characters
Heroic Characters give players the opportunity to select any class and start out in EverQuest with everything they need to be successful! Starting at level 85 with a full complement of gear, Alternative Advancement Abilities, and a unique mount, players should find it much easier to begin their adventures in Norrath. Regardless if you’re a veteran player that wants to try a new class, a new player that wants to get caught up to your friends, or a player that hasn’t visited Norrath in a long time, Heroic Characters are a great way for you to get in the game!
Heroic Characters will be available before the end of the month.
The Plane of War
Plane of War
The zone that players have talked about since Planes of Power is almost ready to make its debut! The Plane of War will be accessible through the inactive stone in Plane of Tranquility, and will have boss fights and gear that is relevant to the most advanced players.
